How to get to Ancona:
To reach Ancona, Italy by
car you can simply take the Motorway A14 from Bologna. There are also trains
that run into and out of Ancona by way of Milano, Bologna, Lecce and Rome
on the Falconara Railways.
The regional airport, Ancona Falconara
has daily flights from London. Other flights are available by flying into
Bologna and Rimini. Driving from the Rome airport to Ancona will take you
approximately three hours.
There are ships that transport to
Greece, Croatia, Turkey, ciprus, Albania and Crete from Ancona. While in
Ancona, you can take a taxi to get around the city, however, most taxi
services charge extra fees for the transporting of luggage and other items.
