 If you are planning to drive into Padova, the simplest way is to take A4 west from Venice.

 There are trains that travel into Padova from Venice, Milan, and Bologna. Train transports are viewed as the easiest way to travel into Padova. There are trains that run between Padova and Venice about every ½ hour, and the trip takes ½ hour. Trains that run between Padova and Milan leave each hour and the trip takes about 2 ½ hours.  Buses can also be used to arrive in Padova from Venice. Buses leave approximately each ½ hour and the trip takes about 45 minutes.
