| Getting to Parma
is relatively easy. The Milan-Bologna rail line
offers around 20 trains each day traveling to Parma
from Milan. The trip takes around an hour and a half. From Bologna,
with 34 trains leaving each day, the trip to Parma takes around
an hour. You can also find many trains from Florence to Parma,
and this trip takes three hours.
Buses also run from Parma
to Torino, Modena, Bologna, and Rimini and
back to Parma. Schedules for departure and arrival into Parma
are available at the selected bus stations.
While in Parma, you
can hire taxis for your travel needs. Rates will vary from company to company,
and it is recommended that you ensure you are hiring an official taxi,
by checking for the sign on the cars top. Keep in mind that luggage and
other items generally carry an extra fee, so you should make sure what
fees are included in the rates when you hire your taxi service.
