| Pescara, Italy
is located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, about 150 miles east of Rome.
It is the largest, and most important city in the Abruzzo region, as it
houses some of the oldest ruins from the ancient Roman and Greek empires.
The climate is wonderful and the temperatures are warm in summer. Winters
in Pescara are somewhat cooler, but with little snowfall. There
are many parks, plazas and shopping centers in Pescara, as well
as factories, a modern train station, and an airport. It is a beautiful
city to tour by walking. Pescaras main industries
include fishing, pasta manufacturing, clothing, shoes, and fine porcelains.
The beautiful harbor area is new and is a very popular point of interest
