a car or take a bus to the cities lying outside of Rome. There are

Tivoli
lies just 30 km east of Rome. Here you can view two villas from
two distinctly different time periods. The Villa Adriana dates back to
Roman times and the Villa D`Este was founded during the Renaissance period.
Ancient
Ostia offers ruins from ancient Rome. You will find this
a wonderful place to visit with its many cypress and Mediterranean pine
trees. Here you will find a taste of the everyday lives of ancient Romans.
Capri
and Naples lie just a short trip from Rome and are considered
the pearl of the Mediterranean sea.
Florence
is also within traveling distance for a visit. Here you can tour medieval
streets and Renaissance Palaces. the Medici memories are stored in great
elegance and splendor within Florence.
There
are also many sightseeing spots within Rome,
but if you want to venture out for a day, or part of a day, these are the
