| Getting to Torino,
Italy is easily done. The Caselle, Torino’s airport is located
just 16km from the town centre. To reach it, you simply drive the main
road or Torino’s ring road, which also connects to the major cities
of northern Italy and southern France. If you are flying into
Torino, you can take a bus or taxi from the airport to reach the
inner city. Road transportation normally takes around 40 minutes. There
is also a train located about 20 minutes from the airport.
Getting around
while you are in Torino is just as simple. There are buses and trams
that cover the entire city which open early in the morning and stay open
until around midnight. Tickets can be purchased at various tobacconists’
and other public places. Any shop that sells tickets for the tram will
have a GTT sticker.
You can also drive around
Torino, however, note that some limited traffic zones are closed
to traffic on certain days, or during certain times of the day. Special
occasions are also reason for some roadways to be closed or limited.
